Retaining the factory engine control system with a custom tune and the factory intake and throttle bodies, this incredible engine also features a custom Comp Extreme cam (non-VVT) with PAC double springs, CNC machined cylinder heads with large-diameter valves, an aluminum block with press-in cast-iron liners, Callies H-beam forged connecting rods with stroker billet crank, Mahle custom forged pistons and steel Moly-filled rings. Other features include installation of an Accusump oiling system, anodized AN braided hoses, high-flow catalytic converters, a new Alcantara headliner. Following assembly, the engine was dyno-tested and broken in by the experts at Prefix, reinstalled into the Viper and given a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty on labor/workmanship and Prefix engine parts. According to detailed receipts on file, the upgrades from Prefix totaled almost $36,000.
