New for 2002, the all-aluminum, 4.4 Liter, dual overhead cam V8, was upped from 282 horsepower to 290, and has 324lbs of torque. Mated to a 6 speed transmission, this 540 Sport is capable of up to 22 miles per gallon, but does 0 – 60 in just 5.5 seconds! This BMW drives better than most luxury sedans available today. It takes bumps politely, shifts crisply, and stops on a dime. A true testament to our customer’s meticulous care, and with only 81,000 miles, this 540 is just getting warmed up.
