A handsomely styled personal-luxury driving machine with excellent performance and handling, the totally redesigned 1969 Grand Prix was the product of a dream team of Pontiac engineers and GM stylists, with final approval by famed Pontiac president John De Lorean. Grand Prix features included stunning long-hood, short deck styling, the first hidden radio antenna, a cockpit-style dash, vacuum door locks, and industry-leading built-in safety features. Featured a shorter wheelbase than before, the tasteful design cues of the new GP paid homage to the grand classics of the 1930s.
