The 1932 Chevrolet BA Confederate was often called the "Baby Cadillac" rightfully so. This is one stylish automobile. In optimum condition, it is written that the BA Confederate Roadster could accelerate from 0 to 35 miles per hour in 6.7 seconds.
Chevrolet produced approximately 313,395 vehicles in 1932. Out of these, only 8552 of the higher priced DeLuxe Sports Roadsters were produced, accounting for less than 3% of total production.
Chevrolet Dealers offered what was coined "The Great American Value" in 1932. This was a program that offered free inspections and adjustments at 500 miles, free inspection every 1000 miles, and replacement with no charge for parts.
The "DeLuxe" models were set apart from the entry level Roadsters by their assortment of unique equipment and a broad palette of color offerings.
