In exceptional, restored condition this SS is equipped with the most sought after L-78 396/375 engine, M-20 4-speed transmission and 410 12-bolt Positraction rear end. It also has the center console with Rally Pack gauges, Power Steering and Front Disc Brakes. The RS appearance package includes hidden headlights, revised taillights, exterior rocker trim, and special RS badging and striping. The 1968 model year Camaro saw a number of cosmetic changes. A more pointed front grille, a front spoiler, divided rear taillights and the new Astro ventilation system were added. The big block models received chromed velocity stack hood inserts. Shock absorber mounting points were revised to address wheel hop, and higher performance models saw the addition of multiple leaf rear springs.
