This Outstanding 1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible has been driven less than 1000 miles since it received a high-quality, ground-up restoration to original specifications. It is exterior is finished in the factory original Sable Black with a new Haartz Black Canvas Convertible Top and Glass Rear Window.  All of the exterior chrome and stainless steel, from the bumper to the wheel opening moldings are in “as new” condition. The Truespoke Chrome Steel Wire Wheels with Cadillac Center Hubs and Double White Wall Radial Tires are the finishing touch.  The Restored Black Interior is in mint condition. The seats were professionally re-upholstered and new carpeting was installed. Interior amenities and options include: Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel, Auto Dimming Headlights, AM/FM Radio with Rear Seat Speaker, Power Windows including the Vent Windows, 6way Power Bench Seat with Center Arm Rest, Automatic Climate Control Heating and Air Conditioning, Driver-side adjustable side view mirror, passenger-side visor vanity mirror and Power Convertible Top. The highly detailed engine compartment features Cadillac’s 429 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor producing 340 horsepower and mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed Automatic Transmission.

The Coupe de Ville was redesigned in 1965 and the elevated tailfins were removed, with fins planed flat, and sharp, distinct body lines replacing the rounded look. Also new were a straight rear bumper and vertical lamp clusters. The headlight pairs switched from horizontal to vertical, thus permitting a wider grille. In 1966 the body-style remained unchanged, with only slight cosmetic styling changes from the previous year. It carried Tiffany-like scripts above the rear tip of the horizontal body rub moldings. Cadillac crests and V-shaped moldings, front and rear, were identifiers.

To say that this Deville Convertible looks, runs and drives like new is an understatement. The V8 starts right up, shifts smoothly into gear and takes you down the street on a suspension system that seems like you are floating on a cloud. The power convertible top opens and closes effortlessly. The new convertible top boot installs simply and is easily stored in the immaculate truck which also includes a full sized spare and jack.
